What is Optical Edge Patrol?

Optical edge patrol (also called registration mark sensing or OPOS) allows the cutter to automatically detect printed registration marks on your media and align the cutting path precisely to your printed design. This enables accurate contour cutting around complex shapes and printed graphics without manual alignment — essential for professional print-and-cut production.
